BCBSIL to Allow Some Individual Members to Keep 2013 Policies
BCBSIL previously notified certain non-grandfathered individual plan members that their current coverage was being cancelled because it didn't meet the minimum standards required by the Affordable Care Act in 2014. Under federal and state guidance announced in November, those members may now keep their current coverage and renew it for the upcoming policy year beginning in 2014.
