Avoid Dangerous

Before you have that beer or glass of wine, think about what prescription or over-the-counter medicines you’re taking. Many medicines and even some herbal remedies can have dangerous effects when mixed with any kind of alcohol. It’s important to read all of the warnings on the labels of any medicine or supplement you take.

Alcohol combined with prescription or over-the-counter drugs can change the amount of medicine the body absorbs, causing a toxic amount of the drug to build up in the body.
