Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois will be closed for Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 3.
Legislative Update
The Department of Health & Human Services recently provided additional clarification about the Women's Preventive Temporary Safe Harbor enforcement that is part of the Affordable Care Act. Also, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force offers new recommendations that update prior recommendations on adult obesity and behavioral counseling to prevent heart disease.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) will be updating the Terms of Use and Privacy Statement on its secure portals soon. In September, employers will be notified that they must accept the updated terms of use before they can proceed.

This medical group is part of the HMO Illinois and BlueAdvantageSM HMO networks. This is an administrative change only.
